5-Star Excellence
Our school is licensed by the state of New Jersey and adheres to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and academics. My Little University is proudly recognized as a 5-Star Quality Rated Center by Grow NJ Kids, New Jersey’s state-sponsored Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). We are honored to be the first and only center in Bergen County to achieve a 5-star rating, the first private center in the state to earn 5 stars on our very first rating, and one of only 13 centers statewide to hold this distinction. Grow NJ Kids is a statewide initiative designed to raise the quality of childcare and early education programs by providing schools with resources for self-assessment, coaching, professional development, and a star rating system that helps parents identify high-quality early learning environments. This collaborative effort, led by the New Jersey Departments of Children and Families, Education, Health, and Human Services, empowers families to make informed choices about their child’s education.
Pyramid Model Implementation
In addition, My Little University is a Pyramid Model Implementation Center, reflecting our commitment to promoting social and emotional competence in young children. The Pyramid Model is a nationally recognized, evidence-based framework that supports children through nurturing relationships, supportive learning environments, targeted interventions for those at risk, and individualized strategies for children with persistent challenges. Through this approach, we strive to improve social-emotional outcomes, foster positive relationships, and create inclusive, supportive environments for all children, families, and educators in our community.
